Facebook is bringing out more features recently. Since yesterday, I noticed the following new stuff that showed up on my Facebook page:
- the right end of the Facebook bar at the top has been redesigned
- News feed has been redesigned
- Posts with more popularity are shown with a blue bar at the top left corner at the post
- Friend's status updates are shown live at the top section of the new chat panel at the right side of the window.
These are the changes thy catches my eye. Check out future posts for new improvements.

Google+ Opened to all: Get +ed

Google+ , the already famous social network by Google is now open to everyone. Until a few days ago, anyone who wished to join it would have to get an invitation from an already registered member, or in another words, one could only join in an invitation basis.
Now, when you open up google, you will find an arrow pointing to a new tab at the top named You+. Click it and you will know what to do. The invitation based registration has made almost everyone in this world try google+. A different strategy in google's own words to describe how big it can get among the masses. Now, as it is open to all, all we have to do is wait for some statistics to show up and see how it is doing with it's rival , Facebook.

Facebook's new smart lists

Google+ has really stirred up Facebook to bring new advancements to keep itself in the market as a tough competitor. We had got video calling and improved privacy features. The next cannon ball that Facebook throws is smart lists. In other words the circle's competitors and you know whose circle I am talking about. Smart list automatically organizes lists of friends based on current work/study information and also location information. You can also organize close friends and acquaintances and also organize whose news feed shows up on your feed page. Pretty cool? or Pretty same? Let us know what you think about it in the comments.

Glassless 3D - The next step or the next leap?

3D was a technology that was lying around for a long time. 3D movies have been around since 1980 but it is until recently that its roaring on top of its feet. Almost every action sic fi flick is coming out in 3D , with some of them gaining popularity just because of the great usage of 3D technology.
In its initial days, the only place where we could enjoy 3D content was in cinemas. But now due to advances in technology, 3D is now available right at our home. We can all play games, watch movies in beautiful 3D. Todays technology has made 3D come right to our hands. Now a days we even have special cameras that can shoot both depth filled photos and videos. We were restricted to view eye popping content only through special glasses. But now we can do more than that. Special glassless 3D tech have emerged that makes it possible to view them straight away. This has made it possible to view 3D content on phones and handheld gaming devices. This is where we are today. But 3D tech for home entertainment systems where quite a rage and before it could reach everyones home, we saw the emergence of the glassless tech. Will something with a much more immersive entertainment experience emerge before everyone can get their hands on this glassless tech, or will it be a runner for a long time as smartphones did for a decade..? Only the future can answer us.

Bloggers new look

It has been a long time since I had logged into my blogger profile and it is today that I have noticed that blogger had changed its look and feel. It seems great to use, but people with a slower internet connections would have to wait for a few seconds or even a few minutes for the interface to load. If this had a HTML view just as gmail had, they would feel a little relaxed.
There a few new settings such as location that is available at the sidebar of the posting page. We will have to see if these new changes bring blogger back up to its feet or make it a good competitor of wordpress.
